Cleaning my room, I found a letter from my Grandma in July
Although she was a little confused and signed it mom instead of grandma, her wise words never cease to amaze me. This was right after I got back from my mission trip in Peru and I had just broken up with my boyfriend. She wrote:
"Well, dear Hannah,
Aren’t mission trips awesome! It was my privilege to go to Brussels and Paris with Bible Literature Fellowship about 1991. Mission trips are eye-openers and work.
We Americans are solo spoiled - seems we are the last to accept Christ as our Saviour - maybe we are too comfortable in our surroundings…
Sorry to hear of your break-up - we really liked him. But we believe God puts a special intuition in His children - especially women - and you listened to that intuition - great choice!
Many a person reaching old age never learn to listen to what God is leading them to do - it certainly makes their lives confusing and miserable.
Relationships can be fun, difficult, and confusing, thru them we learn.
Jesus understands relationships better than anyone, even thru the hurt and change. God will supply your needs
We love you,
Mom and G. Mickey”
Also, this is what the card looks like. Gotta love grandmas
